FRA Supervisor Reasonable Suspicion and Post-Accident Toxicological Testing Training is a 3.5-hour self-paced online training course that includes interactive videos, documents, and resources. Students who complete the course will be able to make reasonable suspicion determination and post-accident testing determinations.

Course Overview

DOT requires that all covered supervisors undergo supervisor reasonable suspicion training, while the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) requires that supervisors undergo Post Accident Toxicological Testing Training.

This DOT and FRA-complaint program includes 60 minutes of training on indicators of probable drug use, 60 minutes of training on the detection of symptoms of alcohol misuse and Post-Accident Toxicological Testing Training. The course is designed to comply with all applicable DOT and FRA regulations.

Trained supervisors can recognize safety risks early and have a higher probability of intervening before an accident or injury. They are also able to can make the right call in determining whether to test an employee after a qualified accident.

Students benefit from self-paced online training that includes interactive videos, documents, and resources. A certificate of completion can be downloaded immediately after passing the online exam.
