DOT Evidential Breath Testing Device (EBT) Training – All Models is a 4-hour online training course that includes virtual mock demonstrations, EBT device training, and one-on-one instruction. Students who complete the course will be able to properly conduct DOT workplace breath alcohol testing.
Important Note: This course requires the student to have an Evidential Breath Testing Device (EBT) Device for demonstrations and enough mouthpieces for completing more than 7 mocks (at least 10 spare mouthpieces). The technician will also need at least 10 Alcohol Testing Forms (ATFs) and tamper-evident tape if your EBT Device does not print tamper evident self-adhesive labels.
Anyone operating an Evidential Breath Testing (EBT) Device for federally regulated employees is mandated to receive training specific to the approved device they use for testing. This training course is designed to comply with device-specific education requirements for both DOT and Non-DOT standards.
Please note this is a device training course only. It does not cover basic instruction and training for aspiring DOT or Non-DOT Breath Alcohol Technicians (BATs). That course can be found here. (link)
